Welcome to Clucky Duck Crèche & Nursery School

Clucky Duck Nursery school was started by Donnella Pretorius and husband Martin Pretorius (Papa) in 1988. They opened their doors for the first time on the 1st August 1988, with only 3 children on the register but within the first 3 months grew to 70 children.

In 1990 they started building phase 2, as the numbers grew to 140. Sadly in 2003 Donnella passed away. Currently Donnella’s daughter Nicola Beaven, a qualified Montessori Directress, is running the school. She is married with 3 children and has been teaching for 24 years. Nicola has a very diverse experience, is passionate and is dedicated in educating a child holistically.
